Art can definitely transform a space and mood instantly and does not need to cost a fortune, however it should ideally last a lifetime. I always make sure that I use quality materials and where possible use local businesses.

Because of the current situation I lowered the normal prices for each piece by 33%.

I am currently working on smaller pieces during the week and started to show available work on social media. These can be purchased on my Etsy shop or with PayPal (just send me an email or get in contact via FB/Instagram) or with a bank transfer. Because some items sell very quickly I won’t add all here, however below you will find some examples of work from current Series.

So if you see something you like here and it is not available anymore on Etsy, don’t worry, just contact me through FB, Instagram or email info@simonewhiteford.com and I will be happy to create something special for you (with no added cost). All items I make are one-offs, however many are part of a Series, which means that they are similar but with slight differences.

Printed on archival paper with archival inks in the UK. I love to design digital artwork and select the ones I like the most for my art posters. Hope you like them too. Many are quite calming and relaxing, most are printed as A1 (23.4″ x 33.1″) large format.

School of Fish (Series)

This beautiful small sculpture sits well on a windowsill, tabletop or bookshelf. It comes in deeply vibrant enamels e.g. emerald green, glowing deep blue and many more. Each piece is unique and differs from the next, however works from the same series are similar. There is a nice effect, when the fish start to “wiggle” slightly when placed down and when there is movement near by (walking next to it etc). Materials: acrylic, enamel, wire on hardwood base

Red Kites (Series)

Red Kites are beautiful and very interesting birds. Surprisingly large and wonderful to watch circling over fields. Fine detailed, scaled birds in plywood and mounted on wire. This effect casts beautiful shadows on the white background. plywood, wire (white box frame – with glass 47.5cm x 47.5 cm x 4.2 cm)
